These are paths, not a sequence. A program can run on carrier APIs alone, on SelectRate alone, or on several sources at once.

RQB is the rate, quote and bind workflow inside SelectConnect. SelectConnect is the connectivity architecture: it carries one submission out to the systems a transaction needs. RQB is what happens when that submission is rated, compared, quoted and prepared for bind.
The distinction matters when you are choosing what to deploy. A program that already quotes and binds somewhere else can still use SelectConnect for connectivity. A program that wants the Selectsys quoting workflow gets RQB inside it.
